What will the apprentice be doing?
1. Samples
a. Chase suppliers for samples, quotation etc
b. Process physical samples
c. Organize sample consignments for product testing
2. Purchasing
a. Listing products on excel sheets
b. Listing product and generating orders in SAP
c. Process order confirmation
3. Product development
a. Conduct market research into products
b. Co-ordinate product testing
c. Sourcing new products/vendors
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Training will be work based and delivered in partnership with our training provider Norther Training academy.
You will have regular visits form your Learning Assessor Coach who will guide and support you towards achieving a level 4 Buying and Merchandising assistant qualification.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
There will be opportunity to become a full-time buyer on a permanent basis.
