Our Employer Liaison Officer will be responsible for the following key duties;
  • Supporting induction of learners onto short classroom based courses, giving them a full overview of the employment opportunities available to them
  • Liaise with employers to remain up to date with volumes of job vacancies available for our learners
  • Liaise with employers to arrange interviews and carryout destination tracking
  • Providing IAG to learners around job opportunities
  • Working with recruitment partners to fully understand job opportunities available for our learners
  • Working with referrals partners to identify additional learning needs for learners joining our programmes
  • Be a point of contact for learners that are struggling with their professional development
  • Develop to be an E&D champion for the business
  • Single point of contact for Erasmus learners - accompanying them when travelling to Dublin from Sumer 2021along with another staff member
  • Ensure that General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) are adhered to with the sending of all information containing personal information of our learners, customers, suppliers, colleagues, stakeholders
  • Maintaining good working relationships with recruitment company and partners
  • Identify opportunities for growth, develop networks and working relationships in new areas
  • Managing job boards to ensure all relevant vacancies remain live and up to date

  • Functional Skills maths Level 2 or equivalent
  • Functional Skills English Level 2 or equivalent
  • Safeguarding Level 2 desirable (to be completed in work if not already achieved)

Future prospects

Depending on the successful candidate's career goals, further apprenticeships will be available to support progression into teaching or coaching roles, following successful completion of the Learning Mentor Standard.

Things to consider

Although our Head Office is based in Dunston, this is partly a peripatetic role and therefore will require visiting training courses on a weekly basis through the North East of England and Tees Valley. To be a successful candidate, you must therefore have a full clean driving license and access to a vehicle.

There may also be national travel required on occasion, along with accompanying learners to work experience opportunities in Dublin during Summer 2021.

Enhanced DBS check will be required upon starting role.
