We are now recruiting for a Commercial Apprentice to join us on a full-time basis.
About the Commercial Apprentice role:
Our apprenticeship focuses on developing valuable transferable business skills such as the ability to negotiate and problem solve, improve value for money and assist in the management of Company projects.
You will be responsible for building relationships with key people within the organization, developing the ability to confidently liaise and negotiate with suppliers, as well as internal and external stakeholders.
You will be an integrated member of our team, benefiting from the support and guidance of your colleagues and your mentor.
In addition to this you will be responsible for:
* Dealing with incoming phone calls and emails, taking appropriate action.
* Arranging order acknowledgements.
* Providing administrative support to the Customer Service, Sales and Projects teams.
* Responding to and following up on processing orders within agreed KPIs.
* Responding to and following up enquiries by telephone, Teams and email appropriately within agreed KPIs.
* Accurately recording all customer communications.
* Entering customer orders and quotation requests onto the ERP system according to Company standards.
* Scanning and archiving documents as directed by the Customer Service Team Leader.
* Preparing certification for dispatch with orders.
* Providing quotations for Standard Products by email to customer requirements in line with agreed KPIs where applicable.
* Handling customer complaints professionally and escalate to a more senior Company representative where necessary, to ensure that customer and Company expectations are met.
In order to be successful in this role you must have:
* GCSEs including grade C or above in English and Maths or equivalent qualification or experience.
* Ability to demonstrate a positive can-do attitude and work calmly under pressure.
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
* Commitment to work to deadlines and be determined to see a job through to a satisfactory conclusion.
* Demonstrable experience of working to a high level of accuracy.
* PC Literate in PowerPoint, Email, Word and Excel.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* High attention to detail.
* Ability to work well within a team whilst having the confidence to work on own initiative.
* Ability to focus on learning new skills and prepared to undertake learning on a daily basis.
* Enthusiasm, drive and commitment to a career within the Commercial field.
