Duties will include:
  • Follow a journey plan across a pre-determined geography
  • Target new business opportunities across Independent Retail stores and also gain insight and capture data of existing range and stocking policies
  • Develop relationships with store managers and also managers of local Cash & Carry depots
  • Negotiate effectively using selling stories to gain listings of KBE brands
  • Report into and liaise on a regular basis with the National Sales Controller
  • Run local promotions and support stores with POS and merchandising
  • KPIs focused on distribution, volume and brand building opportunities
  • Effective networking and regularly meet with key contacts to unlock opportunities.
  • Collate category and competitor pricing intel

Requirements and prospects

  • PC literacy including all MS Office applications
  • Strong negotiation, organisation and influencing skills to drive success
  • Desire to deliver results / Energise others

  • Ability to develop strong network within internal and external customers
  • Self-motivated with the desire to deliver and win
  • Excellent verbal communication and influencing skills
  • Hands on team member who works with pace and urgency

Desired qualifications

GCSE maths and English A-C/9-4.

Future prospects

Permanent role after completion of the apprenticeship for the right candidate.
