You will be provided time off work for studies, attending courses and exams. Initially you will shadow our existing consultants and learn on the job, until you are ready to manage projects and client relationships on your own.

You will gain exposure to develop the specialist cyber skills required to meet growing demand, use industry-recognised software tools and methodologies.

Some examples of work you will perform are:
  • Security reviews of firewalls, web applications, networks, Windows, Linux, Mac OS and other operating systems.
  • Review of access controls, computer configurations, Active Directory and system group policies
  • Vulnerability assessments on systems, networks and websites using automated scanning tools and other network discovery and analysis tools
  • Cyber incident response, incident management, collection of relevant evidence and preparation of incident reports

Desired qualifications

  • 5 GCSEs / Scottish National 5s or equivalent at grades 4-9 / A-C (including maths and English)
  • An A Level in ICT or an International Baccalaureate at Level 3 in ICT, or a Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject

Things to consider

The Employer:
  • This will include some remote working from home, with scheduled office attendance for meetings etc.
  • 1st interview with HR (informal);
  • 2nd interview with MD (formal Q&A)
