The successful candidate will join a community of teachers who excel in delivering a personalised, individual learning experience. You will have access to a range of professional support services including HR, IT, Library Services, Marketing, Communications and Development.

Successful applicants will be employed towork under the direct instruction of teaching staff. The role will be likely to include the following:
  • Working directly with pupils across all key stages
  • Working collaboratively with a wide range of partner organisations
  • Delivery of PE lesson to pupils
  • Supporting the delivery of a rich&exciting extracurricular activity programme
  • Delivering lunchtime activities
  • Supporting pastoral teams to enhance the mental health, self-esteem and wellbeing of pupils
  • Educating pupils about healthy eating and healthy lifestyles choices
  • Encouraging the use of technology in PE and Sports with pupils and staff
  • Developing PE interventions for targeted pupils and those with SEND
  • Supporting staff across the schoolto deliver PE and sharing good practice to maximise quality of teaching and learning for PE / sports
  • Supporting competitive sports events at school, localand regional levels
  • Organising community events
  • Using social media as a mechanism of engagement and celebration of good practice.
  • Safeguard children at all times
  • Contribute to the overall ethos and working values of the school
  • Contribute to raising standards by ensuring high expectations are shared with children
  • Supervise and support pupils ensuring their safety, by complying with good H&S practice
  • Support the teachers and coach in managing pupil behaviour, reporting difficulties as appropriate
  • Attend training sessions as required for CPD purposes

Desired qualifications

  • Minimum Level2qualification in a relevant field
  • Level 2 NGB Qualification (Desirable)
  • Competent in literacy and numeracy to Level 2
