What will the apprentice be doing?
Involving a high level of IFA and customer interaction (telephone calls and emails); customer service and technical knowledge are key to this role. Tasks may include (but are not limited to):
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will enjoy a tailored introductory training programme. This will give you the chance to get to know our business and develop your skills on the job.
You will also develop strong IT skills, working with Microsoft packages, & our in-house systems. We will provide ongoing training, development & mentoring.
You will work towards a Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment qualification & complete in-house professional development training.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
If you are successful in your apprenticeship you may have the opportunity to continue your career at AJ Bell focusing on either a managerial or technical career path with ongoing support and training opportunities provided to support your career growth.

- administration of investments (accurately maintaining & updating both paper based & electronic records)
- Administering funds for transfers in / out of the business including cash and in specie transfers, annuity purchases & ISA/GIA transfers out
