What will the apprentice be doing?

What will you be doing...

Managing the day to day administrative processes of buying
Supporting the business with general procurement enquiries
Completing the steps to get new suppliers set up and approved
Gathering and analysing data to understand spend and saving opportunities
Talking with suppliers to solve problems and collect information
Supporting the Procurement Managers to:
run tenders
agree contracts with suppliers
liaise with customers in the business
create presentations

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

What training will you get...

Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) Level 4 through our nominated training provider. The course typically takes 18-24 months.
Support and mentorship from the procurement team to develop your procurement knowledge.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

What does progression look like...

After completing your apprenticeship you could take up a Procurement Assistant or Junior Buyer role, with great potential for progression in this in demand field.
Potential to complete your level 5 and 6 qualifications to become a chartered buyer.

Things to consider

It would be helpful to have a full UK driving licence as the role will include travel to our parks which are in remote locations (all reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed).
