An exciting oportunity to work with a dynamic and friendly inner-city practice.
We are seeking a self motivated, enthusiastic, flexible and proactive individual to join our highly functional team, where we learn together whilst caring for our diverse group of patients.
St Stephens Health Centre is a progressive 13,500 patient, GMS teaching and training Practice (EMIS Web) situated in purpose-built premises with on-site parking and located in the heart of vibrant Bow, right on the Roman Road Market. It is easily accessible by road and public transport.
Our large practice works with other local practices in a Network to deliver care in Tower Hamlets, well known as a place for clinical innovation.
Our large team of clinical and admin colleagues provide high levels of support and a positive team environment.
· Current clinical team of 11 experienced GPs, 3 ST Doctors, 3 Nurses and 3 HCAs
· 7 clinical coders processing incoming letters
· Pharmacists to assist with clinical queries and prescribing
We are looking for a Deputy Practice Manager who is able to demonstrate solid business, administrative, leadership and communication skillls to join our management team.
The successful candidate will require a good working knowledge of EMIS, an in-depth understanding of practice QOF and Enhanced Service requirements, knowledge of finance claims and practice contract payments.
We are committed to Quality Improvement (QI) projects and are currently working on different areas to continuously look at improving the services and patient care.
