Apprentice for Access Team - Appointments Department

Who we're looking for

Apprentice for Access Team - Appointments Department

37.5 hours per week, fixed term for 18 months

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Appointments team as a full title Apprentice.

The post will be fixed term for 18 months and during this time you will be supported to complete an Apprenticeship in Business and Administration. An Apprenticeship is a nationally recognised qualification which indicates to any employer that the person holding it has attained a satisfactory level of skill and competence in their chosen area of work. The post is ideally suited to those aspiring to a career in Administration.

The successful candidate will work in Access Team within the Appointments Department and hours of work will be 5 days, 08.45am - 17.00 Monday to Friday.

Successful applicants will be given the opportunity to develop new skills and knowledge whilst working within a friendly and established team. Previous related experience is desirable but not essential.

You will receive training and ongoing support to enable you to use the systems and processes required to undertake the role and complete your apprenticeship. In addition, you will gain a recognised apprenticeship qualification. All applicants must:
  • be aged 16+
  • be resident in the UK/EEA for the last three years
  • not have a Degree, level 4 qualification or above
  • not be in any form of formal government-funded education qualifications
  • have a good general standard of GCSE education or equivalent which include Mathematics and English GCSE at grade C or above
  • be flexible within normal working hours (37.5 hours per week)
