The ICT Directorate is responsible for all IT infrastructure and related services at GOSH including IT hardware & software and many clinical and non-clinical IT systems and applications, for example the Imaging suite and Microsoft 365 which encompasses eMail, Office, SharePoint and Teams. ICT also manages the Trust's Integration Engine which is a critical tool managing all flows of data between systems, most importantly EPIC.

There are 5 main areas of ICT: Service (Servicedesk, PCs, RPA), Technology and Infrastructure (networks, data centres & core IT systems), Cyber Security (security tools and services), Data & Applications (databases, storage, interoperability) and Development (solutions architecture, business partnering, programme & project management).

This role has been created to provide ICT programme management focused specifically on projects for the GOSH Learning Academy, which provides a wide range of education opportunities to Trust staff and externally, including simulation-based training, clinical skills and speciality training, leadership development, apprenticeships, plus undergraduate and postgraduate academic courses.

The role will provide expert programme and project management support for a range of ICT-related projects for the GOSH Learning Academy.

The successful candidate will be a highly experienced programme/project manager, with excellent communications skills, verbal and written, coupled with expert skills in managing people and resources in a complex environment. Experience of working in a learning/training environment would be a distinct advantage.
