Role Responsibilities:
  • Working closely with members of the Engineering team to resolve technical issues
  • Provide solutions to common problems within the Crunch applications, apply and monitor fixes
  • Maintain lines of communication with relevant stakeholders and share any updates where required
  • Investigate more complex issues, troubleshoot and escalate them to the Support Developers and/or Development teams when necessary
  • Safely interact with Crunch production systems and databases
  • Gather business analytics through reporting to provide insights to business functions about new or existing clients' needs
  • Assist members of the Crunch team with their reports requirements
  • Share the features of applications with client facing business functions and be involved in the production of training content
  • Be on the pulse of day to day application issues and articulate these to the Product team using appropriate forums so suitable solutions can be identified
  • Actively contributing to team discussions, meeting with your mentor and line manager on a regular basis to discuss training and development needs
  • Undertaking a development programme, leading to a degree qualification as part of an apprenticeship
  • Actively participating in your own development plan which will be agreed with your mentor and line manager and as guided by the degree modules
  • Carrying out such tasks and duties as directed by the Head of Engineering and Lead Scrum Master, contributing to the productivity of the teams and your development
  • Completion of all University projects and assignments to the agreed timescales, as outlined in the training schedule as part of the Apprenticeship Commitment Statement
  • Promoting the benefits of apprenticeships with our external network including the writing of blogs, and sharing experience gained at Crunch with peers on the degree apprenticeship course

The duties listed above are not exhaustive and you may be asked to perform other duties from time to time that are reasonably required by the Company and in line with your degree apprenticeship. We also note that your responsibilities may change over the course of the four year apprenticeship due to your progression in the role as discussed with your line manager, mentor and tutors from the University of Chichester.

Desired qualifications

None required but you must meet the entry criteria and ongoing study requirements in order to complete a Degree level qualification with the University of Chichester. Please check the University's website for guidance.

Future prospects

An opportunity for the apprenticeship to become a full-time job at the end of the training.
