It is a requirement of this role to undertake and complete the Environmental Health Practitioners Degree Apprenticeship 4 year study course at Leeds Becket University. To meet, the attendance requirements of the course, the standard for and time scales for submission of course work and to pass the annual and final course examinations.

It is a responsibility to regularly update the Team Manager on progress with course work/ exam results and to attend and assist in meetings with tutors.

You will through this role work to ensure the homes of families and occupiers are free from serous hazards or risks to health.

The role involves office based activities calling for good IT skills as well visiting and inspecting a range of private rented homes, house in multiple occupation and student accommodation.Good communication skills are required as the role involves interaction will both landlords and tenants and preparing reports.
