We have an exciting opportunity for a D Grade Nurse (Band 5 Nurse) to join our Urology, Nephrology and Neurosciences Unit, based at our main Hospital (W1G) with an inclusive salary range on offer of £36,002 - £38,906 per annum. Job Description

To work in accordance with the London Clinic nursing strategy and contribute towards achieving its objectives.

Job Type:Permanent and Full Time

Shifts:37.5 hours per week, days/nights/weekends

Benefits package:We offer a comprehensive package including a contributory pension scheme (total annual contribution up to 20%), Private Medical Healthcare, 33days annual leave (inclusive), as well as a wide range of other benefits.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • To maintain accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating programmes of care within the framework of nursing incorporating the Named nurse initiative.
  • To coordinate the patients' discharge arrangements in accordance with the London Clinic discharge policy.
  • To promote a patient focused approach to care in collaboration with all relevant health professionals.
  • To educate patients and their carers as required where a need has been identified.

Skills & Experience
  • Registered general nurse with valid NMC Registration
  • At least one year's post registration experience within a UK Hospital (preferably Urology/Neuroscience experience)
  • Experience within cannulation and venepuncture, tracheostomy care and male catheterization
  • To be able to prioritise own workload effectively and that of other appropriately.
