CLERICAL OFFICER

DAY SURGERY/ENDOSCOPY UNIT

£18,005 - £19,337 per annum/pro rata (AfC Band 2)

30 hours per week - PERMANENT

This role is a fantastic opportunity for apprentices who are currently studying for NVQ Level 2/3, apprentices should note that the salary would be Agenda for Change Annex U trainee rate (75% max of band) until they have completed their apprenticeship.

We are currently seeking to recruit a Clerical Officer to work as part of our Day Surgery and Endoscopy Administration Team. The opportunity would suit those who are hardworking and enthusiastic. Clerical experience is desirable but training will be provided to the right candidate if successful. They must also be a focused and flexible team player as the unit is a very busy unit. Deadlines and targets have to be met.

The role will involve working in a multi-disciplinary team to provide a courteous and efficient reception service within the Day Surgery and Endoscopy Unit including checking patients into the Unit. The successful candidate will work as part of a supportive and experienced administration team. The hours of this role are on a rota basis between 7am - 8pm Monday to Friday currently but expanding to a 6 day working week in the future.
