Duties

If you are looking for an exciting new chance to learn and make a difference, working in a flexible environment, there is a fantastic opportunity to our private Physiotherapy Service in Pembrokeshire for a period of up to 12 months.

The successful candidate will provide business administration, marketing, customer service and clerical support. This can include e.g. inputting data into clinic computer systems, making appointments, contribute and lead scheduling and bookings, service development and analysis as well as general administrative duties such as website management, photocopying, filing and scanning of records.

We will support the successful candidate to set up, deliver and present on small business projects during the duration of the course

Additional information

As our location and service is particularly accessible for the abled and disabled individuals, we would specifically be interested to recruit an apprentice with a physical disability.

Evidence of an employer's reference and sick leave record is desirable.

Skills

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic young individual between the age of 18 and 24 with the required and desired skill set to start confidently a Level 3 Business Administration Course within a professional health care setting.
We are particularly interested in a candidate who can demonstrate strong initiative and self-directed learning, is able to work independently and has excellent work ethics and confident communication skills.

The successful candidate would be able to show adaptability, responsibility and is able to work independently as well as in a small team.
We require correct and appropriate workplace behaviour and has a strong affiliation or desire to work within the health sector and a small team.

The candidate needs to evidence good computer and typing skills and has the ability to prioritise and organise work. We require the candidate to have appropriate and confident telephone communication skills to start a Level 3 Business Administration Course.

Our aim is to add experience, knowledge and value to the apprentice's existing skills, to grow further in confidence and expertise.

As a mix team of associated clinicians, management and administrative staff we are keen to support the apprentice in their individual career goals and opportunities.

Interview arrangements

The interview will take place in person within the clinic location in Milford Haven Marina with 1 member of the interview panel. 2 additional members of the interview panel will sit in remotely to adhere to current Social Distance guidelines. Guidance on procedures to attend the interview in person will be provided nearer the time to the successful selected candidates for interview. These will mainly depend on the guidelines and regulations in relation to the current pandemic at the time the interview will take place.
