This is a great opportunity to join the enthusiastic and collaborative Quality and Patient Safety and Commissioning Team in Health Education England (London). The department is responsible for ensuring thatregulatory requirements of all the professional regulators are met and exceeded, further the team is responsible for ensuring that patient safety and the quality of training are priorities in all education and training matters, coordinating initiatives tocontinually drive up the delivery ofhigh-qualityeducation and training across London.

The Quality, Patient Safety and CommissioningOfficer willworkwithin a team to ensure that best practice in all aspects of commissioning drive excellence, using relevant data and information, from a number of sources, to inform high level judgements with regard to health education and training. By acting as a fully integrated member of the team you will ensure that patient safety and quality of training are priorities in all aspects of work.

The postholder will be responsible for providing a comprehensive support service to all members of the team in order to support the effective and efficient delivery of services across all areas of the teams' responsibilities. You will be required to work flexibly across all areas of the team and with unit designated responsibilities, providing appropriate support where business needs require.

You must be able to demonstrate the following key skills: data management, excellent communication and stakeholder management, arranging meetings and minute taking, as well as good Excel and IT skills.

You will need to be proactive, able to work quickly and accurately and independently within a busy team environment and have a flexible and adaptable approach to work. You will have the ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload and meet tight deadlines whilst working as part of a team.

Experience of working within health or education quality monitoring and assurance would be an advantage. Candidates will ideally show an interest in the NHS, its values, and its partner organizations.

Applicants will commence at the bottom of Band 5 with a full-time starting salary of £24,907, with pay step increases after 2 years' service and 4 years' service. These salaries are offered in accordance with NHS Terms and Conditions and the HEE Pay Progression Policy and are subject to annual cost of living review.

Access to a computer with an enabled webcam and MS Office package is necessary for you to take part in the interview /assessment process.
