This is a fantastic opportunity to work for Hosokawa Micron, a world-leading Company in its field whilst also completing a Level 4 Apprenticeship. You will work as a member of the team providing Sales & Marketing expertise to current customer base and new customers. Activities will involve Product education and understanding, Sales visits and standardisation of quotations across the product ranges, where possible. Business development and collaboration with supply chain, educational services, customer base and digital products complimentary to Hosokawa equipment is also integral to the role.

Salary £14,000 per annum

Holiday Entitlement 23 days plus 8 bank holidays

JOB ROLE

Main duties & Responsibilities

  • To ensure that duties undertaken are compliant with the requirements of the Companies Health & Safety Policy and ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System. To ensure that the quality of all work undertaken in the department and the ensuing data is of an acceptable quality.
  • To provide a proficient customer experience to current and new customers by telephone and email by monitoring the information emails and answering the telephone and transferring calls to the appropriate contact
  • The generation and qualification of customer enquiries
  • Evaluating potential sales opportunities and converting them into new sales
  • Improve processes and systems to support sales opportunities
  • To be responsible for the processing and recording of orders received.  Once the orders have been entered onto the system, order acknowledgements to be issued
  • To create the documentation filing tree on VAULT once order has been acknowledged
  • To Scan/collate all order paperwork as required
  • To update customer CRM platform (salesforce)
  • To be responsible for the organisation of travel and itineraries for the Sales Managers
  • To be involved in other aspects of work in the Sales & Marketing department and HML business as required.

Skills required

  • Must have A Level or equivalent qualification to ensure acceptance onto a Level 4 or Degree program of education in Business/Sales on a day release or Open access course
  • Be able to deliver a high level of customer care and develop long standing customer relationships
  • Ability to follow procedures/guidelines to a high standard
  • All Good communication skills – ability to liaise with all levels of people
  • Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Self-confident – able to rely on their own judgement
  • Self-motivated- Proactive target driven individual

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

TRAINING TO BE DELIVERED

18 months - LEVEL 4 Sales Executive Apprenticeship

A minimum of 20% of the apprenticeship training takes place off-the-job and is flexibly delivered to suit. Training can be a combination of classroom and workplace workshops, block-training or day-release.

This role is part of our talent planning for the future, and for the right person we are looking to continue to develop the apprentice upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
