Digital and Technology Change Degree Apprenticeship Programme - Get the career you want at RSM.

The pace of technological change is immense and accelerating. The Covid pandemic has focused business attention on the need to have systems that are agile, flexible, scalable and accessible remotely. The impact of new technologies such as AI, blockchain, machine learning, IoT and social media is providing new opportunities. Our goal is to help our clients navigate and understand the ever-changing technology landscape and associated risks to help them modernize and transform their digital services, safely and securely. Whilst we offer our clients valuable insight into the world of technology, we also recognise that with digital transformation comes the need to embrace a change in culture, people and business processes which help us to add real value to our clients. Our Digital and Technology Change Degree Apprenticeship programme will give you all the skills and support you need to unlock a future that's packed with opportunities and new experiences. With a degree apprenticeship, you'll study towards achieving a BSc (Hons) in Digital and Technology Solutions as well as gaining practical real-work experience. You'll enjoy a fast-tracked business career that recognises your potential and rewards your ambition. When you join our team, you'll enjoy a powerful combination of on-the-job learning and structured training - working with the latest business technology and helping clients unlock its value. You'll discover a culture that nurtures individuality and an environment where everyone is supported to reach their potential. With RSM, you'll always be moving forward.

What does our Technology Risk Assurance team do?

RSM's Technology Risk Assurance team is one of the fastest growing parts of our business with a strategy to become the leading provider of technology risk related assurance and advisory services across the middle market. Our core market facing service offerings include:
  • Cyber security
  • Data privacy
  • IT Programme Assurance
  • IT Due Diligence
  • Internal Controls
  • Operational Resilience

Our clients:

We work across an exciting, diverse and ever evolving client base including FMCG, Manufacturing, Financial Services, Technology, Central Government, Education and Healthcare. Our clients range from regional businesses to FTSE250 listed organisations and multi-national businesses. Our goal is to become the partner of choice with our clients providing long term advisory, delivery and support services through a more personal and tailored approach. If successful in being invited to one of our virtual assessment centres, your skills and experience will be assessed through various exercises on the day.

What can you expect?

The work that we do in Technology Risk Assurance is underpinned by a set of exciting and emerging digital technologies. We have tailored a modular course with BPP for a new generation of technology talent who will become confident professionals with the ability to operate across a range of technical roles and challenges. Following the completion of the modular course you will emerge with a BSc (Hons) in Digital and Technology Solutions.

You won't just learn the skills to communicate effectively with clients to understand their broader business issues, you'll also learn to deal with the complex challenges posed by both technology and people and encouraged to develop self and others and become a subject matter expert in your chosen field over time, whether that be Cyber Security, Data Privacy or Cloud Computing you will be supported every step of the way. In addition to the course you will also be trained in baseline technologies, such as Alteryx and PowerBI, and other technologies from our portfolio of services, such as Planful CPM. You will receive hands on experience across a number of teams within our Risk Assurance and Technology Consulting service lines and rotate across client projects where you can put your formal training to practical use. No two journeys will be the same, as each client experience is different, but you'll have the opportunity to learn from experienced members of the team and understand how technology projects are delivered. This hands-on experience is invaluable as you take the next steps in your career.

RSM will only take one application into consideration per intake. We do not accept multiple applications to different vacancies.
