Apprenticeship Lead for the Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, and Berkshire West (BOB) Integrated Care System (ICS)

6 month FTC or secondment for internal - 15 to 22.5 hours per week

We are looking for an individual who understands clinical and non-clinical apprenticeships in health and social care.

This is an exciting secondment opportunity to join the BOB ICS People Strategy and support our ICS apprenticeship leads across four priority areas: (I) functional skills; (II) improving access to and raising awareness of apprenticeships; (III) developing business cases; and (IV) levy spend.

The Post holder will be responsible for leading on these four areas that form a critical project within the People Strategy Recruitment and Resourcing programme. The post holder will use their skills and expertise to work collaboratively with colleagues in health and social care across our ICS.

With the support of our apprenticeship leads, the post holder will provide expertise, where required, to facilitate the development, delivery and monitoring of: (I) functional skills - ensure apprentices have the right skills (English and maths); (II) improving access and raising awareness of apprenticeships with key partners; (III) developing a business case to support costs associated with training, employment and backfill issues; and (IV) creating mechanisms to spend levy and share of best practice.

This is a secondment opportunity for 6 months, 2-3 days per week. It will be predominantly working from home, but there will be requirement to travel across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, and Berkshire West.
