What will the apprentice be doing?
Responsible for flash reporting cycle, incl. 'Daily Sales' into Group reporting system (Magnitude)
To be proficient in the use of the TM1 and Group budgeting systems,
To produce MI and Financial data/reports monthly
Administer the FP&A function, BR decks, PR responses, budget timetable
To support the FP&A Manager with bonus calculations
Reporting on Cap-Ex spend in the Rexel & Denmans network
To assist the MA team in month-end close
Support the FP&A Manager with ad hoc financial reports
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
As a Rexel Apprentice you will be working in a varied and challenging role, you will be trained in all procedures required, which will give you a fantastic grounding for your future career.
You will be working within the Finance team, supporting the work of the FP&A function across budgeting & forecasting, bonus processes, and Group reporting, with a particular focus on FP&A system support. In addition, the role will provide contingency support on business systems in the wider Financial Control team. The Apprenticeship offered is Level 4 Professional Accounting.

GCSE or equivalent Maths and English (Grade 2-9) Essential
Things to consider
Ideally 2+ years in a fast-paced, finance function - either as a business analyst, or assistant accountant Experience of working in either a retail/wholesale environment, or in a business with a branch network, would be desirable Role would suit someone currently at or studying towards AAT Level 3 Min. 5 GCSEs A-C, incl. English & Maths
