Job Details

You will work with designated customer accounts in a professional manner, to ensure we meet customer's expectations for delivery and to achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

Principal responsibilities will include:
  • Over time you are expected to develop a detailed understanding of the MRP, and machine monitoring systems used in the business and develop into an expert user of these systems helping to drive data integrity
  • Produce weekly reports and support the wider team in the production of regular performance data
  • Receive designated customer schedules and orders, check price and quantity details are as agreed. Input sales order and works order details onto the computer system "Jobshop", ensuring delivery dates can be met
  • Liaise with Sales regarding any queries relating to customer orders
  • Raise Order acknowledgements against nominated accounts and send to customers. Liaise with customers' if a delivery target cannot be met, agree a realistic promise date with the customer and amend system dates accordingly
  • Review weekly customer schedules and enter detail onto Jobshop
  • Print out weekly schedule from Jobshop, and check that all customer delivery dates can be met
  • Generate pick lists against schedules and pass to warehouse for picking. Once this has been returned, then generate Delivery note, making sure that all correct documentation is sent with the delivery
  • Working closely with the Supply Chain Team, Logistics Manager, Production Planner, Production Manager and Customer Service Executives to help achieve our aim for 100% on time delivery to our customers
  • Participate in and actively promote the company's CIP (continuous improvement program) looking for ways to continually improve the way we work and to reduce waste

GCSEs at grades C/4 or above(or equivalent) in maths and English.

Obtain a degree in Supply Chain Leadership.
