Your apprenticeship will be the Consumer Healthcare Tech team, based at our GSK House site in Brentford.

GSK House is our head office based in Brentford, near Kew Gardens. Currently the facilities and access to GSK House are limited due to Covid-19. The expectation is that the apprenticeship will be started on a remote basis.

Your duties might include:
  • Act as a key point of accountability to the business for the overall delivery of tech strategies, projects and services for Consumer Healthcare Supply Chain
  • Effective stakeholder management to build meaningful relationships, acting as the interface between the business and the broader GSK Tech organisation
  • Gain an understanding of opportunities, market trends and industry standards in order to be able to anticipate the needs of the business and suggest projects to work on
  • Become familiar with the broader context of the project in order to maximise your understanding of requirements
  • Set up IT projects with appropriate governance and work towards the successful delivery of IT projects

On successful completion of the apprenticeship, your project management qualification will equip you for a long-term career in the project management space. This could be in a supply chain partner role remaining in the Consumer Healthcare Supply Chain arena or a project management role elsewhere across the tech organisation.

You'll be excited by the thought of:
  • Working in a business partnering role
  • Building your scientific knowledge, business sense and customer relationship skills on a tailored development programme
  • Learning how to prioritise and manage multiple projects, objectives and deadlines
  • Shaping your own development and choosing courses in line with your needs and interests
  • Learning new skills and concepts
  • The chance to work on projects spanning the Europe, Middle East and Africa region
