We are looking for a great JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). There will be a strong emphasis on 'tweaking' and adjusting these components to fit the overall 'look and feel' of the app framework, so strong html and css skills will sometimes be required.

You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure, but despite the above, you will be working on the infrastructure as a complete whole for compatibility testing and debugging (complete local builds). Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

Work will be fully remote working, and as such you will provide your own work environment, connectivity, and equipment.

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:
  • Developing new user-facing features using React.js
  • Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
  • Translating designs and wireframes and concepts into high quality code
  • Optimising components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
  • Refactoring and backporting code from dev to niche app releases
  • Cleaning up app legacy code as new techniques and components become available
  • Exploring and developing new requirements and concepts and integrating them into the release candidate builds
