We focus on general bookkeeping and accountancy support for a wide range of smaller businesses nationwide. While our office concentrates on accounts we also provide other back office services. Currently we are also working with our sister company which provides outsourced cashiering services for law firms. Our work therefore ranges from payroll services, basic daily, or monthly, bookkeeping on a variety of software, to preparing annual financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

Our work includes
  • Bookkeeping on computerised accounts packages (including Xero and Sage)
  • Making payments on behalf of clients
  • Daily and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Preparing invoices for clients
  • Calculations of monthly prepayments
  • VAT returns
  • Monthly payroll preparation for a number of clients small and large including workplace pension scheme calculations
  • Monthly management accounts
  • Annual accounts
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis

Desired qualifications

Must have:
  • GCSE's grades C(4) or above in both English and maths or equivalent
  • AAT Level 3


Future prospects

Possible full time employment or higher level apprenticeship will be offered after successfully completing apprenticeship programme.

Things to consider

Job is located in Longbridge however we have a sister office in Tewkesbury and there will be the very occasional visit to those offices.

Mainly computer based work and we use a variety of software packages so it is essential that candidate will be comfortable in learning new IT skills.

Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
