What will the apprentice be doing?
Initially, preparing payrolls and sending them to clients, preparing word documents to correspond with clients and agencies such as the Registrar of Companies, preparing excel spreadsheets to analyse income and expenditure from client records, preparing VAT Returns and advising clients how much VAT to pay or be recovered and submitting Returns to HM Revenue & Customs.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Full Association of Accounting Technician (AAT) qualification
Ongoing work training at the office.
Course work to be undertaken at home.
Day release as necessary (usually one day per week depending on course requirements) to First Intuition Chelmsford currently online, but likely to return to physically attending in Chelmsford.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Progress to full professional qualification and train as Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) or Chartered Accountant (ICAEW)
