Are you looking for a challenge? Looking to develop your skills? Then look no further. We have a fantastic opportunity for you to start your career in the Pharmacy department at University Hospitals of Leicester.

You will be given the opportunity to develop your skills to your full potential whilst working towards a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians. You will be provided with in-house training in a range of departments within the pharmacy and knowledge based training at college.

On completion of the apprenticeship, you will be qualified to apply for Pharmacy Technician roles within the different pharmacy departments. You will be part of the pharmacy team providing quality care and service to all patients. Support will be provided for you to become a registered Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC. You would be a nationally recognised professional with opportunities to work in a variety of settings including community pharmacy, GP practices and secondary care.

You would need to be a highly motivated individual, willing to learn and develop your current skills. There will be an expectation to work across the three sites of The University hospitals of Leicester.

Minimum entry requirements are 5 GCSE's at grade 4 or above or equivalent and must include Maths, English and Science
