Are you a Registered Psychologist looking to join a dynamic and creative multidisciplinary team, where no two days will be the same?

Working 37.5 hours a week, you will get the opportunity to widen and grow your knowledge and skills as you support two different services. You will split your time between Arbury Court, a medium to low secure and psychiatric intensive care PICU service, and Crossley Manor, a modernised mental health low secure service for women.

With experience from the NHS or private sector, you will have a dedicated caseload, which will see you conduct formulations, psychological assessments, interventions, HCR-20 risk assessments and design treatments.

Under the coordination of the project leads, you will contribute to the development of group work programmes and treatments, this will see you evaluate the effectiveness to support service users pathways and goals.

You will be a part of a multidisciplinary team, which includes the Lead Psychologist, Senior Psychologist, Psychologist in training and Assistant Psychologist. You will be required to design and deliver training and supervisions to junior staff.

With the number of psychologists growing across Elysium, you will enjoy networking with other Registered and Assistant/Trainee grade Psychologists across the wider organisation and a range of learning and development opportunities to help you be the best you can be.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:
  • Assess service users using appropriate psychometric measures; interpret and report results accurately
  • Contribute to the development of evidence-based practices, strategies and policies as specified in the psychology department's service delivery agreement
  • Conduct research in line with the psychology department's service delivery agreement and publish and present work to required standards
  • Develop links with other organisations. Assist with research requests, input to universities and accommodating visitors
