The successful candidate will attend Liverpool John Moores University from September 2021 on a five year part time basis to complete a Building Services Engineering Design Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Progression roles include Project Engineer, Senior Engineer and Projects Manager.

GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade C+ / 4+) Essential
A Level or equivalent Any Subject (Grade Grade A*-C) Desired
A Level or equivalent Any Subject (Grade Grade A*-C) Desired
A Level or equivalent Any Subject (Grade Grade A*-C) Desired
BTEC or equivalent Building Services Design Technician (Grade Level 3) Desired
Things to consider
You must have a minimum 112 UCAS points entry requirements, ideally Maths, Science or sector related qualifications. Background knowledge and previous interest of Construction/Building Services is desired but not essential. Able to multitask and work in a deadline orientated environment

- Layout small power and data
- Layout fire alarm system
- Calculate heat losses
- Size radiators
- Develop a heating system design
- Calculate heat gains
- Calculate ventilation rates
- Size grilles
- Develop a ventilation system
- Calculate hot and cold water demand
- Develop a domestic water services design
- Develop soils and waste layouts
- Produce mechanical schematic
CAD:
- Company standards and layouts
- Autocad drawing protocols
- Revit drawing protocols
- Produce basic layout drawings from sketches
