Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust has been rated as Good by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

We are a responsive and innovative Foundation Trust that places our values of Caring, Safe and Excellent at the heart of everything we do. We take great pride in our staff and believe that investing in you is key to us achieving our vision of outstanding care delivered by outstanding people.

We work with a wide range of partner organisations to deliver care and support to people in their own homes and from a number of hospitals and community bases. We focus on delivering care as close to home as possible.

Are you looking for a varied working environment? Would you like to develop your knowledge and experience of immunisations?

If you answered "yes" to all of the above, then being part of our sessional immunisation team could be the right opportunity for you.

We are looking for a number of experienced Community Staff Nurse's with up to date immunisation experience to help deliver the School Aged Immunisation Programme in a variety of locations across the county, including Primary, Secondary and Independent Schools.

The ability to be flexible to meet the needs of the Service is essential, as is a willingness to explore alternative methods of immunisation delivery to reduce health inequalities in hard to reach groups.

The role offers a flexible working pattern, to meet service need. We have vacancies available across the county.

You will be offered the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills through regular training and study days and by working alongside experienced colleagues.

Applicants should be well organised with excellent communication skills. Good IT skills will provide a considerable advantage as we use an Electronic Consent system, and experience of working in schools or other environments with children and young people will also be helpful. This is a fast moving and very busy environment to work in so the ability to work well under pressure and to be a key team player is a must. We are looking for adaptable, flexible people with excellent skills who will enjoy working in a challenging and busy environment.
