A brand new amazing opportunity has become available with our growing employer located in Poole. Our client are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their close-knit team as a business administration apprentice

Founded in 2005, they have enjoyed considerable growth and are now a recognised leader in the emerging industry of Interior Architecture. Made up of a close-knit team with a wealth of experience they have offices in Poole & London covering the South East, the M3 corridor, all of London and the home counties. They have projects that range from bespoke marine residences to large multi-unit urban developments in the heart of the capital.

Apprenticeship Information:

This is a Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship which will last for a duration of 15 months. If you do not have a GCSE A*-C (4-9) in Maths or English, you will be required to undertake a short assessment to ascertain your suitability.

The Role:

This role brings an opportunity to work directly with the Administrative Design Assistant by following up on administrative tasks covering all aspects of the business. Day to day tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Answering office phone calls
  • Keeping office/communal areas tidy and stocked up.
  • Ordering stationery
  • Assisting the IA team with printing and preparing documents
  • Inputting and updating our Purchase Order spreadsheet
  • Samples – ordering, collecting, returning, labelling (IA department)
  • Painting canvas’ for clients (IA & FF&E department)
  • Chasing order confirmations and delivery dates (FF&E department)
  • Chasing invoices (Accounts department)
  • Organise returns for damaged items (FF&E department)
  • Liaising with suppliers for credit notes, refunds, returns and discrepancies (FF&E department)
  • Liaising with our internal Warehouse team regarding deliveries, missing or damaged items, and stock. (FF&E department)

This role would suit an individual who really wants to expand their administrative skills in an interior design industry. We ask that the individual is hardworking, positive and has a drive to succeed in an administration role.

Working Week:

  • £5.50 per hour
  • 36.5 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday

Skills required:

  • Confident with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Problem Solving
