Recruitment Consultant Apprentice (Level 3 Apprentice) - Reigate
OTE GBP22,000 year 1
Full Time/Part Time (minimum 30 hours per week)
Our client, a specialist Recruitment agency in the care sector, are seeking an Apprentice Recruitment Consultant for their rapidly expanding team.
Specialising in Healthcare and Nursing Recruitment, they are passionate about providing a first-class customer service by only recruiting the best match for their clients' needs in Reigate and the surrounding areas.
As a Recruitment Consultant your role will be to establish, develop and nurture relationships with our target clients - care homes, residential homes supporting those with learning disabilities, public and private hospitals, and other local healthcare providers.
With 60+ branches in the UK, our client is a healthcare staffing solutions company which specialises in supplying nurses, healthcare assistants, support workers and other healthcare professionals. The support our staff provide is essential to maintaining the safety and quality of patient care.
What you will be doing:
* Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, through business development cold calls, service reviews, client visits and marketing campaigns.
* Negotiate and agree rates and terms of business with clients.
* Researching clients to better understand their staffing needs, specialisms, location, pay, benefits, etc.
* Engaging with potential candidates and promoting the profile of this company branch as a local employer of choice for Nurses, HCAs, Support Workers and other roles within healthcare.
* Sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding candidates.
* Building strong relationships with candidates, ensuring we are able to offer them the work they are looking for by matching them to available opportunities and marketing their availability to clients.
* Fulfil client booking requests, including taking part in the business on-call on a rostered basis.
* Work towards and exceed targets for client visits, sales calls, new clients, bookings and margins.
* Other recruitment, sales and administrative tasks as needed to successfully perform the role.
Who we're looking for:
You're a confident communicator who is comfortable with cold calling prospective clients, identifying key contacts and building relationships with them.
You are customer-oriented and strive to create a positive customer and candidate experience, each and every time. You're passionate about delivering the highest possible standard of care and first-class customer service.
You're self-motivated and resilient. When you have a target you find a way to achieve it. You are able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
You take pride in your work, you are organised with strong attention to detail. You don't cut corners. You understand the importance of compliance, safeguarding and health and safety.
If you have experience in a relevant industry such as social care, healthcare or nursing this would be helpful, however prior experience as a Recruitment Consultant is not essential as full training will be given.
What we can offer you:
A base salary plus quarterly commission, with a realistic OTE in Year 1 of GBP22k. Commission is uncapped, you will earn a percentage of all billings once you have reached your target.
As part of our commitment to our local community they provide an Employer Supported Volunteering (ESV) scheme, where they encourage our employees to support a local charity or community group on a regular basis.
Our clients are open to working from home 1 day per week, subject to satisfactory performance during your probation period. Also open to someone part-time as long as they are doing a minimum 30 hours.
There is also a Level 3 Recruitment Consultant apprenticeship attached to this position. Not only will you be earning as you are learning, but you will also achieve a recognised qualification at the end of your apprenticeship, which should take 13-16 months to complete.
