Art Graduate Teaching Assistant Specification and role

The ideal Graduate Teaching Assistant will be a sociable, passionate and a Creative Graduate who has the skills to show great energy and patience. The school wants graduates who can build great relationships with the team and can inspire and motivate young children as well as assist the teachers with creative and artistic ideas this is open to all Graduates with an art degree 2:2 or more. A graduate who is willing to go above and beyond and ensure students love learning in a creative and fun way would be ideal! A Graduate needs to be able to adapt their love for Art into all subjects so students can learn in an engaging and exciting way!

A Graduate with experience teaching or supporting children is ideal! Someone who can "think outside of the box" when assisting students and who is willing to adapt their support to each child.

As a Teaching Assistant at this school you will be supporting the teaching and learning within a specific class. This will also involve being confident holding small activity groups and 1:1 focus activities with children who need additional support with their development. This role is ideal for a future Art Teacher or a general Primary Teacher who has a passion for holistic teaching!!
