Job Title: Legal Support Apprentice

Location: Hove

Salary: GBP15k-GBP17k per annum depending on experience

Full time

Our client based in Hove is looking to recruit a Legal Support Apprentice who is proactive and has a 'can do' attitude. You will join a small team in this young and growing business and focus on sales, in particular evaluating new clients and generating new business for the firm. There is also the potential opportunity to get involved in legal work including research projects and junior paralegal work. The successful candidate will have excellent written English, as well as being articulate and enjoy speaking to new people. You will also require a strong foundation in Microsoft Office applications and IT generally.


You will work alongside the company's Head of Operations.
Answering phones at clients' first point of enquiry and qualifying leads.
Following up on existing leads and working with the administration team to chase any cancellations.
Following up with any clients who have attended a consultation and encouraging them to convert if suitable.
Continuous reviews of the firm's sales process.
Speaking to clients following the closure of their matters and encouraging them to leave reviews and help the firm improve our offering.
Leading the management of the company's new customer relationship management (CRM) software.
Attending networking events and business meetings with potential new partners.
Overseeing the enquiries process and ensuring consistency.
Working with and supporting the administration team where necessary.
Basic marketing support, such as blog writing.
In addition, the role will support the wider legal practice by undertaking various ad-hoc research projects, providing general administrative assistance and potentially some junior paralegal work (with guidance).

Desired skills

This is an entry-level role perfect for a motivated and conscientious individual who is interested in exploring an interest in Law
Ideally the candidate would live locally to our office based in Hove. This is not essential, but applicants should be aware there is no home working available for this role.

Desired qualifications

GCSE English, Maths and IT - minimum grade 4 / C (or equivalent)
