Location: Redcar (Upleatham)/Stokesley, North Yorkshire

Hours: Permanent, Full time, 4 days per week, 1:4 Saturdays, No OOHs, No Sundays

Salary: Competitive, GBP30-32k per annum

The Role:

We are looking for a permanent, newly graduated small animal veterinary surgeon, who is confident, proactive, personable and who has good communication skills to join our ever expanding team. Excellent support will be offered from this growing 19-vet practice, with one to one mentoring from your dedicated experienced vet mentor. Support will always be available (no sole charge), where needed, but there is also the space to grow and work autonomously for those that feel ready to do so, always with the knowledge that someone is close on hand to help if needed.

This is a 100% small animal role, in a mixed practice, working a 4-day week (3 x 8:30am-6pm, 1 x 8:30am-7pm each week). This is a full time, permanent role and will include 1 in 4 Saturdays, no Sunday working, and no OOH's. Some bank holidays will be required, this will be an equal share and is no more than 1 in 4.

Development and progression are important to the practice as they grow and evolve, but finding the right person is key. The practice is looking for someone to work with their existing clients, and deliver their high excellent standard of patient care. The team currently have strong work ethics to ensure quality and effective work is carried out to gain the best overall satisfied results for the patient and the client.

About the practice:

This mixed practice is well established and respected across the local area and North Yorkshire County. Being based in a beautiful part of the country, their 3 branches, which currently houses 19 vets, successfully cover the outstanding surroundings of Whitby, Redcar (Upleatham) and Stokesley.

The practice is fully committed to providing the best care possible for their clients and this has seen them make significant investments in the practice in recent years, which include Digital x-ray, Ultrasound, good quality dental machines, ECG, endoscope, BP machine, tonometer, with plans to continue to grow in the future.

The practice always strives to offer the very best veterinary care possible.

The practice is very social with a strong team environment, supportive and hard working. They are very proud of the practice's reputation and also the loyalty the team show in support, most of the team have been with the practice for more than 4 years. There is a good range of experience levels, so a very supportive network of different interests also.
