Our technical and quality control department is responsible for the componentry items that are brought into the business. Sourced from all over the world to be either used in manufacturing or sold through distribution, these products all have their own standards and complexities.

ECF is in a rural location, you will need your own transport to travel to and from work.
The Role:
- Full time position working with our Technical and Quality Control department
Tasks including:
- Learning about our extensive range of products
- Using this knowledge to advise on technical issues, both internally and externally
- Building a knowledge of Quality Control procedures, and applying these to incoming products
- Creating and maintaining accurate records of technical and quality control issues
- Liaising with suppliers to rectify issues and to gain product information
- Working closely with other departments to provide accurate and consistent data for product promotion
- Creating fitting instructions for products

- Good attention to detail
- Good standard of IT skills including Microsoft Office
- A consistent approach to the role
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Able to make decisions and act accordingly -there will be a certain amount of autonomy within the role
- Able to work in a team and alone when required

- Ability to work as an individual or as part of a team

- The ability to work quickly and methodically

Desired qualifications
- Good level of English and Numeracy (Grade C/4, equivalent or above)
- GCSE Grades A-C/8-4 or equivalent in English and maths and a confident approach to IT
