The apprentice will assist both the Commercial and Contracts Director, predominantly based at the office in Scunthorpe, but will also be required to attend sites as and when necessary.

Things to consider
You must be able to travel to and from work and college.
Responsibilities will include:
- Develop an understanding of the procurement and tender process
- Prepare tender documents and obtain sub-contract quotations
- Take off drawings
- Liaise with suppliers/sub-contractors and assist in maintaining supply chain
- Assist with buying of site materials
- Liaise with clients and attend site meetings
- Carry out site measurements and record appropriate information
- Assist the contracts team with agreeing accounts and valuations
- Solving contract and site disputes ensuring commercial awareness in conjunction with legal requirements

- General IT knowledge and ability to use Word & Excel
- Microsoft Project knowledge advantageous
- Good communication skills
- Driving licence is preferable
- Good head for numbers and figures
- Good grammatical skills
