What will the apprentice be doing?

Main Duties:

- Work closely and under supervision of the fully trained and higly skilled Site Manager

- Assist with supervising workers and subcontractors

- Managing Orders, deliveries of site materials

- Oranising staff rotas

- Checking work is carried out safely and accurately to exacting standards

- Site Reports

- Ensure that work complies with building regulations and health and safety legislation

- Attending Site Management Meetings

- General Site Assistance

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

The successful applicant will be working towards Construction Site Supervisor - Level 4 (includes NVQ 4 Diploma). Delivered virtually by NHBC (includes break-out rooms, exercises, presentations etc.). Average 4 weeks per module (1 day per week day release in the office). 10 modules to meet the National Occupational Standards set by Industry. Completed in 15-18 months. On the job training provided. Our Head Office is based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. The role would typically be in the Bucks, Beds, Berks Hertfordshire and Oxfordshire and surrounding areas as we progress with sites.

Things to consider

Working outside in all weathers. Early morning starts. Will be required to work on various sites across the wider area. Own transport required.
