As an experienced Practitioner or Clinician (band 7) with experience in assessing and supporting adults, children and young people with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), join the small and enthusiastic therapy team of clinicians, CBT, DBT and integrative therapists and Psychologists at Elysium Therapy Brighton (part of Elysium Healthcare)

You might be an Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurse, Practitioner Psychologist or Psychotherapist, or Speech and Language Therapist with the relevant experience to be suited to this role.

Full and part-time will be considered, with full time being 37.5 hours/week and an average of 23 clinical hours/week, and part-time being no less than 19 hours/week.

With sea-views and bright, comfortable and spacious consulting/therapy rooms, you'll provide ADOS assessments and treatment to service users who present with difficulties and signs related to ADHD and Autism.

You will have a passion for your work, excellent written and verbal communication skills, a positive and solution-focussed approach and have experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Registration/accreditation with Governing bodies such as HCPC, UKCP, BABCP, BACP, UKCP, NCS or NMC.

What your role will include:
  • Developing and delivering individualised patient care plans to patients one-to-one and in groups
  • Being responsible for implementing a range of psychological interventions for patients
  • Providing specialist psychological advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals as appropriate, including undertaking risk assessment and risk management for individual patients
  • Attending as required, case conferences, MDT reviews and other meetings, as appropriate

Reporting to the Lead of Therapy Department, you will receive a comprehensive introduction, have access to excellent IT equipment and will benefit from our commitment to looking after our staff and we encourage and welcome an open, honest and constructive dialogue.

Your initiative and creativity to improve and develop the Outpatient service is always welcome. You will have opportunity to become involved with quality improvement initiatives to enhance the service user experience and supporting development of creative and effective collaborative working relationships with partner agencies.
