Sheffield is a Foundation Trust economy serving a diverse population of 580,000 people. NHS Sheffield Clinical Commissioning Group is a membership organisation comprising 79 GP practices and expects to have a commissioning budget (including primary care co-commissioning funds) of circa £900m making it one of the largest CCGs in the country. Established in 2013, this is an exciting opportunity to join our organisation as we work on our ambitious service transformation programme in order to support improvements for patients, addressing health inequalities, working with key stakeholders in developing effective partnerships and commissioning integrated clinical change across health and social care.

NHS Sheffield CCG is part of the Sheffield Accountable Care Partnership which brings together seven partners in the city across the NHS, local government and the voluntary sector and is at the forefront of policy and strategic development on integrated care. Sheffield is also the largest of five places within the South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw Integrated Care System, one of ten first-wave ICSs identified nationally to develop the blueprint for system working across health and care.

Salary - To be agreed based on National Minimum Wage guidance

Fixed Term - Temporary Contract (Kickstart) - September 2021 to February 2022

Employment required immediately from September 2021

These roles will enable two enthusiastic and committed people to work in the Workforce Hub of the Integrated Care System where they will be expected to work as part of the team to provide support with marketing and communications, apprenticeships and general administration.

The role will involve working with colleagues in the workforce hub to attend meetings, develop an understanding of the roles of team members, develop and maintain effective working relationships and interactions with partners and stakeholders across Health and Social care. As well as working closely with the schools and apprenticeships team you will also gain exposure to record keeping, social media and marketing.

The role will require the candidate to take notes and minutes, and use a variety of software packages. We offer high levels of support and great networking opportunities to develop within our wider community.

Applicants should have good interpersonal skills and communication skills are essential. A level of confidence in virtual meetings with audio and visual technology is essential.
