We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Service Administrator Apprentice to join our Services team based in Whiteley. You will join us on an 15-month apprenticeship program in return for a competitive salary of GBP10,400 per annum.

As our Service Administrator Apprentice, you will work within the Services team combining work experience, on and off the job training (including the completion of an apprenticeship qualification). You will be responsible for ensuring that all returned stock is booked in correctly, checking for accuracy in terms of quantity, description, part/model and condition, together with supporting the Fulfilment team with device testing and data wiping.

There could be a permanent position for the right candidate on completion of your apprenticeship.

Throughout the duration of the Apprenticeship you will be required to attend one of PETA training centres for off-the- job training. The majority of training will be completed with your employer at your place of work.

You will work towards the following qualifications:

Your working week will be varied but typical roles and responsibilities for a Service Administrator Apprentice will include:

Taking customer calls
Recording returns, testing and validation for mobile devices and accessories, including: Booking goods In, Dispatching of goods, Testing, Data wiping, Creation of inspection/fault reports (if required)
Device programming based on customer requirements (high proportion will be on Apple and Android)
Ensure all materials and goods are stored correctly to minimise the possibility of damage or deterioration
Responsible for dispatch and returns processing
Ensure all information is tracked and kept up to date on the company system
Comply with company policies, processes and procedures
Support, co-ordinate and maintain relationships with internal teams where required
Any other duties as required by the line manager commensurate with the positionKey Challenges

This is an office based roleEssential Skills

Warehouse experience an advantage
Computer literate and knowledge of MS Packages
Good communication skills are essential (both verbal and written)
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Good telephone manner
Experience in an administration role would be advantageous
Adaptability and initiative
A positive "can-do" attitude
Ability to work to strict deadlines and prioritise workload
A self-motivated and pro-active approach
Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the overall success of the team and organisation
4 GCSE's or equivalent at grade A*-C / 9-4 including English and Maths or level 2 functional skills equivalentDesirable Skills
