Clinical Lead Nurse

Location:Old Trafford, Manchester,M16 7NR

Salary: £19.00 per hour

Hours:42.5 hours

The Role?We currently have an opportunity for a Clinical Lead Nurse(RMN)to join our home in Old Trafford, Manchester. As a Clinical Lead you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of clinical care is provided to our Residents.

The clinical lead will provide clinical leadership and advice to the Home Manager and contribute to the general management of the home.

Working Hours

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm

Out of hours expected for on call clinical advice in conjunction with the Home Manager and Deputy.

Our ideal candidate?A responsible and caring attitude is important. You will work in friendly but sometimes challenging environments, therefore excellent interaction and communication skills are essential. Your role will involve planning, assessing and evaluating Care Plans and Risk Assessments, attending team meetings and other appropriate multi-professional meetings as well as carry out one to one sessions with service users. It is important that if you are interested in the role, you can maintain and keep updated on new clinical and nursing developments as well as ensuring a high standard of nursing in the application of clinical nursing procedures and treatments including medicine administration and management.

Qualities and Skills required:
  • NMC registered.
  • RMN is preferable
  • Strong Management and Leadership skills to the highest standards
  • Previous clinical supervision experience
  • Experience of working within a Mental Health Care Home setting is preferable.
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Effective communication Skills
