An exciting opportunity has arisen to enhance our current team of highly skilled Emergency Nurse Practitioners to manage acutely ill and injured patients attending the department.

You will be joining our experienced team in the Emergency Department, and you will be encouraged as a Practitioner to further develop your history taking and examination skills in a Major Trauma Centre.

You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing and treating patients with a wide range of clinical conditions which will include acute medical, surgical and trauma cases. You will be required to provide flexible cover over a 24 hour period.

Applicants who are motivated and enthusiastic, with a minimum of 3 years post registration experience and the relevant qualifications are invited to apply for this post.

This individual should be intent on delivering a high quality service within the ED department. Previous experience is desirable however educational opportunities are available to further develop skills and knowledge with ongoing clinical supervision.

The post holders will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a quality service in line with the A&E clinical quality indicators.
