About the role

As the National Apprenticeship Lead you will act as a champion in apprenticeships in Health and Justice. You will be responsible for offering guidance and support to post registration staff with preceptorship. As the main point of contact for all HiJ apprentices day-to-day, including monthly update communications and drop in calls for apprentices and Clinical Leads/Practice Assessors, you will be a strong leader who always leads by example and provides inspiration to learners to help them achieve their full potential.

You will be the link between other employer partners and university/training providers. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating clinical placements for all Trainee Nursing Associate and Pharmacy Technician apprentices, building reciprocal partnerships with regional placement leads.

You will research and implement new apprenticeship opportunities, build links with university providers in terms of apprenticeship delivery and placement opportunities and manage Health in Justice's DAS account (Digital Apprenticeship Service) to ensure Levy is being allocated accordingly.

About you

You will have experience in the apprenticeship sector and educated to a degree level or equivalent. You will have recently worked in a healthcare or education setting and have strong experience in building relationships with stakeholder.

This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week on a salary of up to £37,500 depending on experience. The role is a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave The role is home based but there may be some travel to sites required.
