The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust (RD&E) provides Acute and Community services across Exeter and East Devon serving a population of more than 450,000 people. In our latest CQC full inspection of our services, the RD&E received an overall rating of "good". A new opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and approachable person to be part of our busy Recruitment Team. This role will assist with the first stage of the recruitment process and will be the first line of contact for managers and candidates, resolving issues and offering advice and guidance with regards to the recruitment process.

Key elements of the role are to advertise vacancies, manage shortlisting, send out interview invites and process successful candidates, all through NHS Jobs. In addition to the above tasks they will need to manage the Recruitment Inbox. We are a small and busy team so extra tasks will appear on most of the days. This role will suit you if you are full of initiative, organised and work well to deadlines.

The ideal candidate will be able to communicate through email and phone and be confident in talking to new people and other teams across the wider HR function. They will also have the ability to work accurately with data and information, be computer confident, have attention to detail and the confidence to deal with internal and external stakeholders of all levels.

As part of the Apprenticeship you will undertake the Level 2 (Step Into Business) Customer Service Apprenticeship qualification. The programme includes: Level 2 Customer Service qualification, Functional Skills in Mathematics and English (if required) and End Point Assessment.
