This is an 18-month development opportunity for someone looking for a career in IT Procurement & Fulfilment. The successful candidate will complete a Business Admin L3 apprenticeship

The post holder will work alongside our friendly team of IT Procurement staff at the CITS office in Redruth. An average of 20% of the working week will be spent on training and work-based projects, building up assessment evidence for your qualification.

The IT Procurement team provides IT Procurement advice and support to all NHS organisations in Cornwall. This includes best advice on equipment required for specific needs, arranging quotes, ordering and receiving equipment. Maintaining the asset register and allocation of asset numbers. Stock control, stock movement, preparation and delivery to NHS sites.

This role has a frequent requirement to lift and move moderately heavy equipment for which manual handling training will be given. It will also require the ability to drive a van to deliver devices to various NHS sites around the county so a full UK driving licence is essential.

The successful candidate will be a people person with good verbal and written skills. They will have in interest in IT to help understand the diverse range of equipment used in the Trusts. If you think you have these qualities, then we would love to meet you.
