What will the apprentice be doing?
Day-to-day tasks include analysing data in Excel, visualising information as an infographic, creating an interactive dashboard, writing reports or meeting with internal customers to understand their needs. You'll learn to work and comply with data protection and legal issues, the data life cycle, the different types of data structures, database system design, implementation and maintenance and how to use and apply industry standard tools and methods for data analysis.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
During this apprenticeship you will learn by working with experienced colleagues plus be able to take advantage of many internal training courses. Our training provider QA will deliver the Data Analyst apprenticeship qualification using a blend of classroom delivery in Birmingham and online training. Qualifications attained will be: Data Analyst Level 4, BCS Level 4 Certificate in Data Analysis Tools and BCS Level 4 Certificate in Data Analysis Concepts
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
At the end of your apprenticeship you will be a qualified Data Analyst and we will seek to retain you in a role that utilises the skills, knowledge and behaviours attained throughout the apprenticeship, subject to performance and a position being available to apply for.

Warwickshire County Council adopts an agile working policy where all staff work between the office and remotely. All equipment you need to work remotely will be supplied, but please acknowledge this is a part of the role before applying.
