What will the apprentice be doing?

As a Quantity Surveying Apprentice your degree in Quantity Surveying will be funded whilst you gain hands on experience as part of the Commercial team. In addition to your degree you will receive a fully structured training programme giving you the chance to learn from your colleagues and gain a thorough understanding of industry processes with a mentor to guide you on your way. On passing your APC (Assessment of Professional Competence) you will become a Chartered Surveyor.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying and RICS-registered Chartered Surveyor.

Off-the-job training will be provided by the University College of Estate Management (UCEM). Rather than attending formal lectures or classes, you'll study for 1 day a week using UCEM's state-of-the-art online learning environment and digital library, supported with guidance from highly experienced tutors.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Exciting opportunity to jump start your QS career through an apprenticeship with KBR who deliver science, technology and engineering solutions to governments and companies around the world. You will be working as part of a decommissioning programme for Sellafield to support the transformation from nuclear operator into a world leader in environmental remediation.
