Duties of the role:
  • Survey completed works for quality and create snag lists as necessary
  • Accurately evaluate works and stock on site to enable applications for payments to be made to customers
  • Accurately assess works to allow the commercial team to agree subcontractor stage payments
  • Conduct stock checks on sites as required
  • Work closely with the Commercial Team Leader and Contracts Team Leader
  • Supervise Subcontractors conducting remedial works
  • Survey for installations if required
  • Provide technical support with regards to installations
  • Utilise knowledge of the buildings to assist the Project Manager
  • Report to Commercial Team Leader daily
  • Report on Health & Safety arrangements on sites

Desired qualifications

We welcome applications from those who have a minimum of four GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, including English, maths and combined science, and one or more of the following:
  • 48 UCAS tariff points (for September 2017 entry)
  • a BTEC Level 3 qualification in a related subject
  • an Advanced Apprenticeship
  • an NVQ Level 3 qualification in a related subject
  • equivalent qualifications or relevant work experience.

All level 3 qualifications should include appropriate elements of level 3 mathematics and science. Should the entry requirements not be met then individual cases will be considered.
