We have exciting opportunities for Oncology & HaematologyNurses to join our Bank team working across our Oncology & Haematology Outpatient Unit.

These roles are based within The London Clinic's Duchess of Devonshire Wing which is our award-winning cancer centre located in Central London, W1G 6JA (Close to Regents Park tube stations). The site includes state-of-the-art radiotherapy, chemotherapy suites and 47 dedicated patient bedrooms for Oncology & Haematology patients.

Our Oncology & Haematology Outpatient department comprises of 22 individual areas for outpatient treatment. It also has two fully enclosed private rooms for outpatients who require extra privacy during their treatment. Our patients attend for day case chemotherapy and related treatments and/or consultant appointments. We currently have 5 apheresis machines, where donors/ patients attend for peripheral blood stem cell donation.

Job Description

Working as a Bank Oncology Nurse is a highly flexible option which pays highly competitive hourly rates, up to £33.54 per hour (Sunday rates are £36.22 per hour)

Duties & Responsibilities
  • As an Oncology Nurse, you will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of nursing care, ensuring the highest level of customer service is delivered to our patients.
  • Provide efficient, effective and evidence-based nursing care to cancer patients.
  • Administer chemotherapy and other anti-cancer treatments.


Skills & Experience
  • Registered Nurse with valid NMC pin.
  • Significant clinical experience in oncology care.
  • Knowledge of oncological conditions, diseases, cytotoxic drugs and therapies, with experience of peripheral/central venous access devices, cannulation & phlebotomy.
  • You will be enthusiastic, well organised with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
